Great position. Fast service at breakfast time. Can leave the car and walk into High Street. Perhaps a shelter for smokers would be a good idea? I don't smoke myself but my wife does, it was raining a lot while we were there so she found it difficult to stay dry. Other than that highly recommended.

Sue and Graham are very welcoming and hospitable. The room was very pleasantly decorated and furnished and the beds were very comfortable. We particularly liked our cooked breakfasts which were well cooked and tasty.
Tips:There are plenty of nice tea, coffee shops and restaurants in the town. We found plenty to see and do within walking/short drive distance of the bed and breakfast. We would recommend walking the coastal path at Keyhaven. The gardens at Exbury are well worth a visit.

Graham & Sue made my wife & I most welcome in their guesthouse. We had a lovely room with a double bed overlooking their back garden & a nice view of the sports ground. The breakfast served to us was excellent in every way. Nothing was to much trouble for our hosts. The location was on a main road which can be quite busy at certain times of the day but parking in the guesthouse is reasonably good for at least four family cars. For getting around town it is better to walk from this location. For a weekend away I recommend this guesthouse.

We really enjoyed our stay at Auplands. Sue and Graham were very welcoming, rooms were very clean, the bed was lovely and comfortable. Bottled water was provided and access to a communal fridge which I imagine would be really helpful if you were staying more than one night. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, and set us up for a long walk on Sunday morning. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.
Tips:On the Saturday night we ate at Ravaas (an Indian restaurant) and the food was extremely good. They were really busy so would recommend booking. We popped into a couple of pubs including The Kings Head and The Angel & Blue Pig. We didn't eat but the atmosphere was good and food did look very nice. Can definitely recommend a visit to Hurst Castle - a walk along and around the fort was a great way to walk off Sue and Graham's yummy breakfast.

A lovely stay! Sue and Graham were very helpful and were able to offer advice on local attractions. we were even given discount voucher for Bucklers Hard which we visited on our second day.
Tips:We enjoyed a very interesting morning at Bucklers Hard. Great cycling trails through the forest. We will definitely return as we would like to take the ferry from Lymington and go across to the Isle of Wight and cycle there, unfortunately the sea was a bit rough for us to do this on our last day.

It was a pleasure to stay at Auplands. The owners, Sue and Graham, are helpful and friendly, and they cook an excellent breakfast. Our room was clean, comfortable, and, thanks to efficient double glazing, was very quiet despite the room being at the front of the house.
Tips:The great thing about the location of Auplands is the close proximity to the town. On the Saturday morning, we were able to walk to the fabulous market - no parking worries. Similarly, in the evening, one can walk to the many eateries in the town. We particularly enjoyed our meal in 'The Ship' on the quay.

Tips:The Kings Arms Pub serves lovely food as does the Crown at Everton. If you are only wanting a sandwich, it's handy having a Waitrose and M&S food hall nearby. We have visited thrice now which speaks for itself. The ambience is just right allowing everyone to go about their plans but being there for any problems. We have always been made welcome and very well looked after. We have already passed on recommendation to our friends visiting the area. Long may it continue but we do appreciate the need for a proprietary respite on occasions. Make sure you make space for yourselves. Cheers Linda and David Meikle.

We stayed at Auplands Guest House for one night in March, following a long cycle ride through the New Forest. The bike storage facilities attracted us initially; however we would highly recommend this guesthouse for a number of other reasons as well. Auplands is located not far from Lymington’s high street, train station as well as ferry services to the Isle of Wight. Our room (we stayed in the Westfield Room, overlooking the garden) was clean and came with all the amenities you would expect from a good guest house. Water bottles were provided free of charge which was an additional bonus after our cycle ride. For breakfast, we could choose between continental or Full English. Fresh fruit, muesli and yoghurt were also offered. The food was well prepared and the breakfast service itself was very efficient. The couple who runs this guesthouse were very friendly and always happy to help. We very much enjoyed our stay at Auplands.
Tips:Lymington is an ideal place to get the Isle of Wight (short ferry journey) and to get to the New Forest.
