29th September 2020:
I had the most comfortable stay. Peter and Elaine were exceptional hosts. My room was amazingly comfortable, with en suite shower. Cooked breakfast, cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit, fruit juice, tea/coffee provided. Location was perfect. Peter was very informative of the area and gave me lots of tips of where to visit, and provided pamphlets and time table for IOW ferry. A bar fridge was provided for guests, on the landing, with milk for each room, and place for guests to store their drinks etc. Tea/coffee/hot chocolate and kettle in room. Free off road parking. I highly recommend this B&B. Perfect is how I would describe my stay.
Tips:Monkey House pub, 10 minute walk from B&B provide good meals. New Forest was amazing. I went to Bucklers Hard, Beaulieu, Sway, Brockenhurst and Yarmouth on IOW.

We had a three night stay here at Peel House and from the time we walked in the door you felt at home and welcome. All precautions had been taken into account with split breakfast times for guest due to Covid. The choice for breakfast was wide and extremely well presented. Rooms were well equipped and very comfortable Peter and Elaine run an excellent B and B. Well placed for trips out and a short stroll to the town. Peters local knowledge was a great help to plan trips out, definitely be back again.
Tips:Plenty of places in the surrounding area to eat in the evening within a short walk.

We had a very good welcome from you and found everything we would expect and more. We thought the provision of real milk in the fridge on the landing was superb. So much nicer than those nasty little pots of long life. We also liked the chocolates and biscuits, great if you're slightly peckish. It was good to be able to leave the car and walk to the pub, for what turned out to be a really nice meal. The bed was really comfortable, great shower followed by a yummy cooked breakfast. We'll definitely stay again when we're in the New Forest.

Tips:Peel House B&B we had a fabulous stay, lovely rooms lovely decor, spotlessly clean. Excellent breakfast choices freshly cooked piping hot. Peter the owner was a wealth of knowledge about the local area, nothing was to much trouble he even gave us a lift to the Wightlink Ferry terminal when we were running late. Peter is a knowledgeable, friendly host who made us feel welcome and pointed us in the right direction for things to do. Elaine cooked up very good breakfasts that set us up for the day, We had a spacious, nicely decorated bedroom & bathroom; we slept well. We liked the proximity to the town and being able to leave our car safe on the driveway. Although only a short but much needed break, we benefited immediately from the relaxed ambiance and lovely Lymington.
Tips:We enjoyed walking around the Marinas and the Salterns where we saw plenty of wildlife. We had good steak meals at The Angel and Pig - half price on Tuesdays. The Monkey Puzzle, not far from the B and B, was a great choice as the food and service was excellent. We spent our last day at Beaulieu Motor Museum, Palace House etc. and thoroughly recommend it, especially on a rainy day :)

A lovely stay in a guest house that gave a lot of thought to the needs of its visitors. Our room was lovely and spacious with plenty of storage and everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. We liked the provision of a fridge where we could choose to have fresh milk if we wanted to. Breakfast was of a really good quality with the option of smaller portions if required. We enjoyed the provision of fresh seasonal fruit too. Nothing was too much trouble for the proprietor. Peel House was very welcoming and we immediately felt comfortable with booking there. Although just off of a busy road, it's an ideal location to stay and visit this part of the world.
Tips:Like the owners, the locals are very friendly and helpful. During our short stay, we decided to go on a New Forest tour bus for the day and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Lymington has some good shops and we enjoyed the Saturday market with the buzz of locals meeting up. We enjoyed a walk down to the quay where lots of people stopped to eat local fish and chips (amazing freshness from the Dolphin), have an ice cream, or a nice glass of wine from the pub. There were plenty of other eating places to choose from. Wetherspoons is often a favourite for some people. The station was not too far, and if we had stayed longer, we might have taken a train ride to Weymouth or Bournmouth. It was nice to be able to leave the car parked at Peel House and explore on foot. The more adventurous could plan a trip to the Isle of Wight.

Lovely B&B, Peter was very friendly and informative about the local area. Great breakfast, lots of choice. Nice touch to have chocolates on tea tray with fresh milk available.
Tips:Saturday market is good, some lovely shops and pubs. We like the Ship Inn, Kings Head and Angel & Blue Pig. Lovely walks by the quay and The Haven.

Had a great stay - Peter was very helpful and always made sure we had everything we wanted. He was happy to suggest places to visit and things to do in the area, and to point out local events too.
Tips:The Monkey House pub is about 5 mins away from Peel House. Although we did't eat there ourselves, another couple who were also staying at Peel House said the food in the pub was fabulous. (I can recommend the beer and wine though...)

Excellent in every way. Very clean. all fixtures and fittings are high end and high quality. The staff were attentive and friendly. Food (breakfast) was top class. Easy walk into the centre.
Tips:A pub/restaurant (gastro pub) is around 100 mtrs away turn left as you leave the B&B. book early but very nice food and good atmosphere.

We much enjoyed our stay at Peel House B&B and would definitely consider to go back in the future. Room, toilet and breakfast hall were spotless and very well organised. Peter is a kind and knowledgable host. He was very helpful in giving directions and recommending places to visit. We were pleasantly surprised to see that they are fully equipped with loads of maps and brochures about the area. The location is great, minutes away from Lymington town centre and sits between both the New Forest and the sea (Milford on Sea). It was our first time here and we truly loved it. If weather was kinder it would have been a glorious stay!
Tips:Peter suggested us to go to The Monkey House, a pub a minute walk from the house. Lovely food, great atmosphere and very nice staff! Lymington, which reminded me a bit of Henley-on-Thames, is a nice little town with plenty of independent shops on its High Street, a market every Saturday and a nice walk to Lymington River's (which flows into the sea). For Asian food lovers, we tried Rivaaz, an Indian restaurant on the High Street. Tasty food and excellent service.

Pete was most helpful with advice on what to see in the local area, considering we stay in the area quite often we have visited places this weekend that we have never been to before. Our room was lovely, even supplied us with a flask, just in case we wanted to take a hot drink, out with us. We would certainly return & recommend
Tips:We like to visit Milford on Sea which is only a few miles down the road. There are some lovely eateries including The Smugglers Inn, also nice places if you just want a coffee, wine or beer as there’s a lovely real ale pub too. The sea front at Milford is lovely too with lots of parking (charges do apply)
