Absolutely brilliant place to stay, accommodation, food and staff all excellent. Would definitely recommend this lovely place in the heart of The New Forest. Probably one of the best places we've ever stayed at. Staff went the extra mile for us, provided a lovely bottle of prosecco in the room as it was my wife's birthday, went out and purchased some Worcestershire Sauce for my breakfast as none in stock on the first day, and gave my wife a lovely colouring book containing local scenes that they had made specially. All-in-all a wonderful experience. Will definitely visit again. Thank you to Ciaran, Cheryl and Becky.

Beaulieu Motor Museum is worth a visit, and take advantage of the lovely walks nearby.

Great hosts and a lovely place to stay. Very filling breakfasts if you like a full English or Irish! Well situated for going walking in the Forest . Quiet too. Rooms clean and tidy. A massive bath in the Daisy suite ( I nearly couldn't get out! ) . A few different options for overnighting as well. All in a lovely stay on a long weekend.

Great Thai in the village, Britannia Thai and there is nearby taproom at Pig Beer Brewery, which can be rolled into a walk if you return via Setley..

We liked very much what you've done in creating Daisybank Cottage. Your attention to detail in the design of our (Daisy) suite & the breakfast room and in the provision of self-service in the room and for breakfast takes Bed & Breakfast to a new level. The bathroom is roomy and well equipped with an excellent shower. There were very few downsides. The main one was that our bed was a little too firm. The breakfast quality was generally very good, although on one occasion the bread that was toasted was a bit on the elderly side.

Check with Cheryl about the best places to go in the New Forest with helpful detail about where to walk, where to park etc. - she knows the area like the back of her hand, and her enthusiasm is uplifting.

“Comfort” is what this place offers! Comfortable beds to guarantee a good night sleep, fluffy towels and high standard amenities … must try Smoked Salmon Scramble eggs for breakfast. It is delicious. Second visit to Daisy Bank, and once again we had an excellent stay. Cheryl and Ciaran are brilliant host’s and the staff are really friendly. Rooms are spotlessly clean and the lovely breakfast sets you up for the day. Will definitely be back next year.

Daisy Bank is in a lovely location and just a 15 minute walk into Brockenhurst. There is a bus stop just a few metres away, and a twenty minute walk gets you to the railway station. Ample parking on site, and there is the option to use the car charging unit to the rear in agreement with and payable to the host.

This is our second stay at Daisybank and it was just as fantastic as we remembered from last year. We stayed in the same room, the Marryat suite, which is beautiful with a little, private garden. The breakfast choice at Daisybank is amazing, the location brilliant for cycling and it’s only about a 15-minute walk into Brockenhurst village for provisions/eateries. The owners, Cheryl and Ciaran, are so helpful and have thought of everything you’d need for your New Forest stay. We will definitely return and can’t recommend it highly enough!

A placid place to stay: no noise; I welcome particularly the absence of a wireless at breakfast as even good hotels have this intrusion and I don’t know why. The food is plentiful and well-cooked and served with charm and friendliness.

I’m uncertain of what to put here - as it is advertised as a B&B all travellers should be aware of the absence of an evening meal but there’s a comprehensive list of local restaurants (within walking distance) and the invitation to purchase ‘take-aways’ utilising cutlery from the breakfast room. Not all establishments welcome the presence of any ‘take-away’ - even sandwiches which leave no odour - so this is a point in favour.

Excellent position in Brockenhurst and New Forest, close to Lymington, Christchurch and many other "must see" places in Hampshire and Dorset. Our "Courtyard" room was clean and spacious with a big shower room and additional open air courtyard. Quality fixtures and fittings with facilities for self catering if required. Owners and staff are pleasant and very helpful. The breakfasts are wonderful with a wide selection of menu options. Homely atmosphere and great value for money. We will stay at Daisybank Cottage again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Daisybank Cottage. Our room was lovely and spacious. Didn’t realise it had a small kitchen area until we arrived and found it so handy for the fridge and sink for washing our cups after using them. We looked forward to coming back to our room after a day out, to sit and relax in our private little garden with a drink. Our bed was really comfy which gave us both 2 good nights of sleep. The toiletries, bathrobe and slippers made our stay feel luxurious. We enjoyed our breakfasts and felt full, ready for our day out to explore. We can’t fault anything wrong or that could have been done better. It was perfect and would certainly stay at Daisybank again.

This is a lovely place to stay in a perfect location. Is a 15 minute walk to the local high street. We can recommend The Snakecatcher for pub food and there is also a good Italian restaurant next door. Brockenhurst train station is across the road. The village bus to Lymington appeared quite frequent.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by Ciaran and settled in to our gorgeous room. There were so many lovely little touches that made the stay very special. We strolled the short way in to Brockenhurst, passing many beautiful ponies grazing by the roadside, where we were spoiled for choice for an evening meal. After a wonderfully comfortable nights sleep, we had breakfast in the dining room. The food was fantastic and again, the attention to detail made it such a lovely stay. We were sorry to have only stayed the one night and will certainly be back. Thank you, Ciaran and Cheryl, you were perfect hosts.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Daisybank Cottage! We stayed in the Burdock room and it was beautiful, comfortable and stylishly decorated. We loved the delicious cookies on arrival (I need that recipe!) & a selection of Nespresso capsules & teas. Gowns, slippers & lovely bathroom amenities added to the comfort. Thankfully, there was even an umbrella to use as we had forgotten ours behind! Thoughtfully, when they saw we had bought a bottle of wine, two wine glasses were left in our room. Though we didn't end up drinking it as we were out and about too much! We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfasts brought to our room every morning. There was such a selection, it was difficult to choose! Daisybank was faultless & we really felt at home! Thank you for a wonderful stay! We hope to be back!

If you're planning on walking in the forest, bring walking shoes that you don't mind getting mud on! We should have planned for that!

We had a lovely warm welcome to Daisybank, so many thanks for that. Such a lovely location and the room was absolutely perfect. The bed was very comfy (a massive plus for me!) and so many thoughtful gestures - cookies on arrival, an abundance of toiletries, unlimited tea and coffee - such a treat. Also the room was beautifully clean. I'm slightly sad that it was too warm to light the log burner but we have booked to come again in September so maybe then ....... Thank you for a memorable mini break. Also many thanks for the truly delicious breakfasts, we really felt like we were staying in a 5 star hotel :-)

A lovely stay as always at Daisybank Cottage. The weather was not too shiny the day we arrived but with such comfortable accomodation it simply did not matter. The breakfast was delicious with a wide range of choice and delivered, with a smile, under an umbrella, as it was pouring with rain! We had a fantastic time at Daisybank. From the moment we booked and were sent a welcome book which gave suggestions for food/drink, activities and experiences the attention to detail was above and beyond. Our room was beautiful and had everything we could ever need and to have our own little garden space with a BBQ was so much more than you would normally have at a B&B. The breakfast menu is extensive and the food delicious. The owners are lovely and so helpful. It was our first time in Brockenhurst and we will definitely be back. It feels more like a 5* hotel than a B&B. There are lots of places to stay in Brockenhurst but we wouldn't dream of going anywhere other than Daisybank!

We have stayed at Daisy Bank regularly over the last 3 years. The standard is high & remains the same every visit. Excellent products in bathroom with robes & slippers & plenty of towels. Nothing is too much trouble. Ten out of Ten plus for Ciaran & Cheryl.
