The cottage was featured in June on the BBC 2 property series "Building Dream Homes"

The Shepherd's Hut joins the wooden-clad Gardener's Cottage in the back garden.The hut is a private getaway and sits in a landscaped private patio area with a bistro table and chairs,wooden deck-chairs and an extensive array of foliage, including grasses and bamboo.
A separate shower room in an adjacent hut is just as delightful.The "Private Privy" has exposed brass pipes, a high level toilet, Belfast sink, electric shower and heated towel rail. The hut is available from the beginning of April to the end of September. Full breakfast is served in the main house.Room Facilities:

Very friendly & informative hosts. Nothing was too much trouble & the recommendations about places to visit, walks to try all turned out to be most enjoyable!!
Tips:Daisybank is a lovely place to stay, all the rooms are finished to a high standard & very clean. Bus stop to Lymington is 2 minutes away, village centre & train station are a 20 minute walk.

Warm welcome when arrived.Had the choice either to have breakfast in your room or communal area.lots of choice for breakfast.plenty of information about where to go to eat.plus lots of walks to do in the new forest.The room was very clean and tidy.nothing was to much trouble.we will be going back to daisybank cottage.

We had a lovely warm welcome to Daisybank, so many thanks for that. Such a lovely location and the room was absolutely perfect. The bed was very comfy (a massive plus for me!) and so many thoughtful gestures - cookies on arrival, an abundance of toiletries, unlimited tea and coffee - such a treat. Also the room was beautifully clean. I'm slightly sad that it was too warm to light the log burner but we have booked to come again in September so maybe then ....... Thank you for a memorable mini break. Also many thanks for the truly delicious breakfasts, we really felt like we were staying in a 5 star hotel :-)

We booked at very short notice with an early checkin time. We were met on arrival and made welcome. Accommodation was spotless, warm and comfortable. Facilities for hot drinks were provided and included fresh milk in a fridge. Breakfast was stonking! Possibly the nicest b&b we have stayed in - we will be returning.

A lovely stay as always at Daisybank Cottage. The weather was not too shiny the day we arrived but with such comfortable accomodation it simply did not matter. The breakfast was delicious with a wide range of choice and delivered, with a smile, under an umbrella, as it was pouring with rain! The hosts, Ciran and Cheryl are always welcoming and it would be difficult to choose anywhere else to stay in the New Forest without feeling short changed having stayed there!

Ciaran and Cheryl could not have been more welcoming and their boutique B&B has not lost the feel of a lovely home. The property is a beautiful example of a house from the Arts & Craft period, the attention to detail is everywhere. Everything was perfect except the breakfast which was even better than perfect - a real treat.

We had a fantastic time at Daisybank. From the moment we booked and were sent a welcome book which gave suggestions for food/drink, activities and experiences the attention to detail was above and beyond. Our room was beautiful and had everything we could ever need and to have our own little garden space with a BBQ was so much more than you would normally have at a B&B. The breakfast menu is extensive and the food delicious. The owners are lovely and so helpful. It was our first time in Brockenhurst and we will definitely be back. It feels more like a 5* hotel than a B&B. There are lots of places to stay in Brockenhurst but we wouldn't dream of going anywhere other than Daisybank!
